You shouldn't have any problems with IE7 and EMC 10, but I would have kept EMC 7.5, and dumped IE7. :)

Thanks for the info.

I want to use the RSS Feature of Windows Live Mail and you cannot do that without IE7. It will not work with IE6.

What does 7.5 have that 10 does not have that I might need?

A better encoding engine, for one thing. Unfortunately, it doesn't encode widescreen video. I do use EMC 7.5 for all of my slide shows.

EMC 10 is a great program and does do a good job of encoding video, but the hardware encoding doesn't work for everyone, so I recommend using software render. You lose 3-D transitions, if you use software rendering.
