Esm 10 & Vista

DMS65

Question

Hi, I tried installling ESM 10 on my HP Vista computer without much success. It took about 40 minutes and I thought it was installed okay but when I tried to use it 8 of the applications won't open and 4 of them will. When I go into Creator Classic it hangs up after I click anything the first time. Also when I tried playing some of my videos that were okay before on Windows Media Player there is no sound.

Anyway I thought I would do the Clean Install but I would have to uninstall Creator Basic V9, Express Labeler and My DVD basic V 9

which came installed on my computer. I do not want to loose them because if I can't get Creator 10 to work I will stick with Basic 9, even tho it is not very satisfactory. Is there anyway I can copy that program to save it in case I have to use it.

Thanks for any help

Most HP computers come with an application to restore the preinstalled apps. Check this:

Start > HP > PC Help & Tools > HP Application Recovery

Not too sure about that first folder. I'm doing this from memory, but it is an HP Folder on the START menu. When you run that application, you should be able to reinstall EMC 9 basic.
