8004520c Error While Encoding, Both To Disk And To File

I assembled a six-minute movie over the course of the last week and was successfully able to burn it to a DVD twice today. After viewing I had to redo some of the work because of things I needed to change within the content of the movie.

 

That was done, changes were saved, life was good.

 

Then.... *POOF* goes the success ratio. Now every time I try to write it to DVD, to a file or do any other thing to save the complied movie I'm getting the encoding error.

 

I've done the defrag thing, I've tried saving to a file, but to no avail.

 

HELP! This is for work and I need to get it saved to DVD by Monday.

And just 'cuz I need to ask it... this will impact the movie that I've already created HOW?

Undo the changes you made and see if your success ratio comes back. Have you tried rendering using the software instead of hardware mode?

It's only ever been in software mode.
