Runtime Error



I have been using my DVDit Pro HD v6.3 for some time now without any problems but the other day I was unable to start the program. I received a Runtime Error! which said "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

I have contacted Roxio Support but while waiting for reply I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem who may be able to advise the procedure to rectify this problem.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and get the message,


The program has turminated in an unusual way... message



I have Avid Express Pro HD and an HP XW 8600 with a quadcore processor and Windows XP Pro.



I have seen other users complaining about this but the solution of uninstall reinstall is not working!

this is likely happening when the sample assets are being loaded. go into the install directory (program files>roxio>dvdit pro hd) and into the "content" folder. rename the template folder inside of that and then try to relaunch the application. if that works, you're up and running but without any templates in the content bin. to clean the whole thing up you would have to do a clean uninstall - uninstall the app and then go into the registry editor and delete all references to DVDit Pro HD and then reinstall.
