Tan2Day
I have been getting a message when trying to burn double layer DVD+R DL disks, any manufacturer, have tried Verbatim now and Ridata. At the very end the message comes up...Mac OS ERROR Result Code -5001 and it hangs at that point. Using Toast 9.0.2 and OS 10.5.4 on a one year old iMac 24. Any suggestions, and what does that error code mean?

I would try using Verbatim DL media if possible. The error you are experiencing is media incompatibility which is not the same as "Tan2Day" Edited August 20, 2008 by firenhancer
