Uninstalling And Reinstalling

Question

I have followed these directions exactly several times now, and I am still unable to get my Roxio up and running.. I continue to get the same message certificate file missing or has been corrupted. I am irritated as I have been using this program and suddenly it decides not to work.. so looked up this resource.. follow directions and still no program..

whats next? help please

Exactly what directions are you following? If you use the Clean Install Instructions that should completely remove EMC 9 from your system so that you can start over.

As for suddenly not working, are you using a registry cleaner? If so, be careful as many are known to cause problems with EMC.

yes I follow the clean install instructions, still I get the same error message. I did use a PC register Mechanic after the fact but I can reverse and restore if you think that may be the problem.

 

I will try one more time these same instructions... I printed them out so I could follow them exactly without going back and forth.

Please do try again and I know from personal experience the PC Mechanic does mess EMC9 up. There's some info about how to fix problems caused by registry cleaners found here.
