Burning Audio Cd

Question

When i burn a audio cd in roxio 10 in easy audio cd section and i got the cd recording options set to TAO CLOSED on the type section , i need to know is that setting correct and will it automatically add a 2 second gap before the next song thanks please let me know. :D

Given that most songs have some silence at the beginning and end of the track and therefore there's some gap between the songs on the original, are you wanting to ADD a 2-second gap, or are you wanting the software to stop adding a gap??

I think that TAO is used only for data CDs but I'm not sure.

 

The first pregap is set to 2 seconds automatically. Select the next piece and click on the "I" icon, set the pregap for that music there. t looks like it is grayed out but it still works.

ok if thats only used for data cds whats the best setting to have that on then any idea

Back up and tell us what you want to make data discs or audio CD's that will play on a CD player?

 

Disc at once means that the laser never shut off during the burn; TAO is the opposite in that laser will shut off after each track. It will give you space between tracks even if you don't want them. I don't think that they will be exactly 2 seconds; in fact they will be much less.
