Unable To Activate

I'm trying to reinstall Roxio EMC9 because my old version 6 won't recognize my DVD's.

When I go to run any of the applications, a registration window opens, shows a moving timer bar, and then goes blank. There is no title and no close/minimize control on the window. I can't stop the process without going into task manager.

I'm running Windows XP and use Firefox as my default browser.

 

I haven't gotten any response from Roxio support on this. Any ideas how to fix the problem?

Thanks for your help. Going offline helped although I never did see the exact screens the appnote 12074 said I would. Anyway, it seems to be working.

I get the bottom one about "connecting to servers" but the next screen comes out blank except for 4 dots along the left edge.

You're allowing the program online access? Try with your firewall and antivirus shut off.
