Itunes & Roxio

These programs are conflicting with each other - when trying to 'Back up' my iTunes library to DVD - Roxio (Easy Media Creator 7) interjects w/the drag to disc. How do i turn off Drag to Disc? Then when I finally get it into iTunes it tells me it's not a blank disc ... b/c Drag to Disc put data files on it that I can't remove. How do I get this to work together?

Don't format the disc and then D2D won't do anything with it

 

Better still, go to control panel, add/remove programs and uninstall D2D

 

However, you may need to use the iTune software to create CDs as they are in a proprietary format

If it is the downloaded version of EMC 7, I don't believe it can be uninstalled. It can be disabled via msconfig.

I was able to go & uninstall D2D - great idea - i thought i would have to uninstall all of EMC but no. It all works now but those 2 DVDs w/D2D data gets kicked out of other programs too. I'll just have to scrap those 2 RW DVD

Just erase them with the tools - don't format them
