Help With Mydvd

Been using various Roxio products for years with varied success! Have Creator 10 and started my first video project using Mydvd. Have edited a huge video mostly with success (3+ hours), video and slides together, with music files and text . The project saved file is in a .dmsd format? This file will not open except in Mydvd program? When trying to "burn", the program runs a long time, then it stops and says it cannot complete the burn. What is .dmsd file, and how can I get the video over to Videowave?, or convert the file to something I can save in another format? I think I started my project in the wrong program (Mydvd)? My computer is an AMD 64x2 dual core @2.2mhz, 3 gigs ram, Nvidia 8600GTS video card, Sony DVD writer dual layer 16x, etc. Any help is appreciated.

In MyDVD, right click your movie, choose "Edit Movie" option. This brings you to Videowave template. Select Output As, then DVD Playback, MPEG-2 DVD, Best Quality. See what happens.

If you know what your MyDVD dmsd file is called, then try this and let me know.

 

Open VW chose Add. Type in the full Project name, including the dmsd extension.

 

It should open in VW.
