I need to reinstall and I have both my TSID and Serial number. My Installation CD is damaged - 3 drives cannot read it. I contacted sales support and they will not help with a replacement or will allow me to download the installation files. (They sent me a link on how to back up my media - but cannot read the media) They say to go to the retailer. (I got it from Outpost/Fry's months ago) I paid for it - is the only solution to purchase a new copy? I do have my license key and TSID. Considering the cost of the product, it would be cheaper to go and pickup another copy and ensure to make a backup copy. Or as "lyn98109" recommended check out eBay. I reseted the password 3 times and still would not let me in. Roxio gave me no reason - just that they do not replace a damaged disk - to go back to the retailer (Fry's online - you can imagine that). The only other time I had a damaged disk, was from Microsoft. They readily replaced the disk for a nominal fee. I decided the simplest way was to get a new copy, but Roxio rather than keep me as a customer for more licenses and upgrades, annoyed me, so today I got NERO 8. Easy CD and DVD Burning is only sold in Retail Stores. Considering the cost of the product, it would be cheaper to go and pickup another copy and ensure to make a backup copy. 0 Brendon Posted August 29, 2008 Report Share Posted August 29, 2008 The reason behind Roxio not wanting to supply a replacement disc probably hinges on the fact that they don't sell Easy CD & DVD Burning. so they won't have a retail copy they can sell you. Miracles can be done immediately in the right quarters, but impossibilities take a little longer. Good fortune with your new software.
