Videowave--creator 2009 Bug

REDWAGON

Question

When running a new Videowave program and after adding a 3D transition theme, When you click right on any of the transitions and then click on Change transition duration time, you can change the time (upper right corner of the screen) but the options to change all of the transitions to that new duration, or just that particular one, all the options are grayed out except "Cancel"

EMC 10 had a similar problem when trying to change all of the transitions to that new changed duration time.

Yeah Bruce, I agree <_< What I can't figure out is Steve posted that his Videowave option for changing the duration time acted the same as EMC 10, which wasn't right. I can't even get it to do the same as that ??? The options that were in EMC10 are all grayed out now in my new Creator2009 Videowave.

I am experiencing the issue on 2 different systems and XP/Vista. I will try few more things and find out if I can get around it ;)

I can right click on one transition, click set transition duration, change its duration, click OK and it only changes the duration for that one and does not alter the other transitions. However, Click apply to all, it changes the durations for all (provided the durations of the photos are long enough to allow it) but as with EMC 10 it then changes all the transitions to the one selected to change the duration time.

Exactly the way it worked in EMC10 Jean. However, my problem in Creator 2009 is that the "O.K." for changing a single transitrion OR the option to "change all" is totally grayed out. So I don't even have the ability to change ANYTHING !! :angry2:

Question: Does the issue happen also if you are changing a non-3D transition? Any change if you switch between Hardware & Software option?

1--Yes, same thing happens on any of the transition options.

2--No--Changing to Software Option does not help.

Is EMC 10 in the same machine as C2009? Does EMC 10 exhibit the same issue as you do in C2009 (greyed out buttons, missing transitions in the dialog box)?

1--NO--I have EMC10 & EMC 9 on a totally separate computer running Vista than the Vista computer I have Creator 2009 installed on. And no other programs installed period !!

2--No--EMC10 works fine all except it will only change a single transition at a time and will change all of the other transotions to the same type transition if you choose to use the "Change All" option. (That's been a problem with EMC 10 every since it was created. Now EMC 9 works perfectly as far as a single transition OR using the change all option. That's as it should be !!!

Thanks Jess for the additional questions, as there just might have been something I missed in trying to fix my problem.
