Yes I did. The same thing is in the manual that came with the turntable.

EDIT: When I have some time and get an adapter ,I think I will try and connect the RCA plugs from the turntable to the line in on sound card. Logically that should work

 

 

Did you ever get a reply that worked? I also tried my turntable using the USB connection and my tapedeck using RCA cables going to the LineIn on the computer. No luck! I can hear the sound when I edit the test track; but I can't hear it when I try to monitor the input. Is there a fix to this?

The OP hasn't been back since december last year so we assume that whatever was suggested worked for him

 

It's always better to start a new thread rather than tacking a 'me too' on an exsisting one (especially one that is over 6 months out of date)
