No Installation Options?

swansonp

Question

I ran the download version setup called "FN56GA50R13_RoxioCreator2009.exe" and it ran straight through after entering the serial number without giving a screen to choose options/components. If you run the uninstall routine, there is still no options/components screen presented, it simply asks if you want to remove the program. Is this some kind of oversight on the part of the Roxio design team or are they trying to force you install the whole thing? I can't imagine why they would do something like that.

Can anyone else comfirm this?

Thanks.

I think that we can all confirm this. It's all or nothing, and there is no way to uninstall portions of the suite in Add/Remove Programs.

That has been a complaint in past Versions of EMC - for the download. The Boxed Version has had the option to selectively install/uninstall. That could be what is happening here.

Not true, I do actually run the software tho. My experience having V9, V10, and 2009 downloads installed and running on a XP SP2 machine.
