Roxio Mydvd 10 Does Not Work

dmikou

Question

I did a project which includes videos and slide shows. Everything works fine during previews.

I made a couple projects burning on DVD.

After installation Adobe Premier, DVD burning option does not work at all.

(Failed to start the image writing operation Error while Burning Image

80004003 Error while Aborting)

There is a problem with the sound (The sound from the first movie appear on the other video movies after 3-5 minutes) when I created the .iso file on the HD.

I created the new project. It has the same problem.

The clean unistall and install does not resolve this problem.

The render Option is Software.

I have the full version Roxio Media Creator 10.

Check this thread - - quite often that error is a graphics problem

From what I understand, the problem arose after you installed Premier and that may have added some incompatiblity, so I would check for the latest graphics drivers for your card and also the latest DirectX from MS, in case Adobe installed an older version

I have the lates Version of DirectX.

Updating the video driver does not resolve this problem.

The installing of Premier is a possible issue. It was the latest major changing of my system.

I spent 4 days on Roxio forum before start this therad, and I realised that a lot of people have the similar problems as mine. I divided them on 2 types.

One kind of problems with the burning MYDVD project on DVD (which should successfully resolving by creating the .iso file and then burning it on dvd using Video Copy and Convert).

Second problem with the sound (which should successfully resolving by updating the drivers or creating the .iso file).

This did not work for me.

Any other ideas or suggestions?

Thanks.

To unistall Adobe will be the last option. I would like to keep it.

There is no problem wth the burner, because it burn data dvd and make the copy.

The problem is Roxio MYDVD.

It creates "image file" or "folder set" with the error of the sound.

It sounds very like something is clashing between Premier and EMC - a shared dll or siimilar is causing the problem.

Possibly a 'clean install'; for both may cure it - but it's hard to be specfic from a couple of thousand miles away from your system
