Question

Open letter to Roxio, Sonic INC.:

After several atempts to have Easy Media Creator 8 to work as it should in my HP Media Center PC Pavilion a1210n AMD 64 with windows XP professional operating system in it, I had enough of this non-sense and I WANT MY MONEY BACK 100% $99.00 U.S dollars + tax that I paid for in Circuit City o$6.50 sales tax on 03/16/2006. My ticket number is 167065

PROBLEM:

As soon as I connect to the Internet via Earthlink Internet service provider WINDOWS INSTALLER interrupts, and pops up upon my computer screen with an unending loop; even after clicking on cancel several times, it will not go away. The only way to terminate the annoying program is with CTRL-ALT -DEL (Windows Task Manager) I even block several services with Zone Alam Pro firewal with no positive results.

I patiently unistalled this program at least 12 times TO NO AVAIL, by following the e-mailed instructions by Sonic Tech. support. and other suggestions made by the customers in the Roxio Community message board. :)

ACTION:

if i don't get a response from Sonic and a full refund of my purchase, a week from today (April 06, 2006) I will take the following steps:

1- Llegal action, along with

2- Posting messages similar to this one on 5 websites I owned and other public forums in the worldwide world

3- I shall submit this complaint to consumer services report, Better Business bureau, magazines online and other media outlets
