Burning Order

Hello,

I have Creator Plus-Dell Edition. When using "data" to burn photos from an external hard drive, how do I get the program to burn in the order I put the pictures into? For instance, I am a wedding photographer, I use 2 cameras with different file numbers. When combining the images to burn, I put the pictures in the order of the wedding. The program ignores me and burns them in chronological order. Help!

never did it that way,but perhaps if you REMAME your pictures in the order you want them to burn, it will do that.

To override alpha in alphanumeric, you need to use numeric -

 

01.pic.jpg

02.pic.jpg

03.pic.jpg

10.pic.jpg

22.pic.jpg

 

etc. if you have more than 100 files (and 00 will be before 01), use 3 digits.

By the way, that is how Windows burns files; not a Roxio problem.

 

You may be able to find a simple batch renaming application that will do it for you.

I believe the freeware Irfanview has the batch renaming capability.
