avogadro
I just installed Toast 9 today and tried burning a CD from tracks I dragged and dropped from iTunes. The track names and times show in the files window of Toast but do not show on the Cd after burning. What am I doing wrong?
0 tsantee
Toast writes track names as CD Text. Computers don't read CD Text, however. For the track names to appear on your Mac they need to be written to a database file in your preferences folder either by entering the info in iTunes or by download from the online CDDB (if a match to your CD is there which in your case there would be no match). The easiest thing is to go to this link and get the CD Text to CD Info applescript. That will transfer the information Toast burned to the CD so it gets added to the your Mac's database via iTunes. 0 avogadro
Thanks tsantee. I now understand. I ran out and inserted the CD I burned with Toast in my auto CD Player. It shows the track names even though they don't show up om my Mac. Thanks again!
