NBK
Hi Is it possible to shoot in HDV, then import into DVDit 6.4 HD next export from DVDit Pro 6 6.4 as DVD-VIDEO with the DV widescreen preset? Thanks NBK
0 SS Scott
if you demux the ts into elementary streams you probably won't have a problem with that. the only issue may be that most HDV is 1440x1080 which is a 4:3 aspect ratio...and that may not be stretched anamorphically when DVDit outputs to DVD. 0 SS Scott
you can download a freeware tool called TSRemux from the web. import your TS, right click on the TS element you want to demux and select "demux to elementary stream", choose test.m2v as your output file. that should do the trick. then you can import that into DVDit and see if it works. I will give you another tip...DVDit may not recognize your 1440 video as 16:9 anamorphic and thus may create a DVD that has 4:3 video. download a freeware tool called Restream from the web, import the m2v you just demuxed and you can change the aspect ratio to 16:9 and rewrite the file. this will change the headers and DVDit will then see the video as widescreen and properly create a widescreen DVD.
