mauede
I have installed Roxio Toast 9.0 on my MacBook PRO. I learnt to copy video DVDs very quickly. But I haven't found out how to erase a rewritable DVD through Roxio Toast. I tried erasing a DVD through the Disk Utilities that comes with OS/X But then Toast cannot use the erased DVD any more. It keeps asking for a new one. Therefore I deduce that Toast and Disk Utilities are incompatible. I guess Toast can ony rewrite DVDs that presumably were erased by Toast itself ... but how ? Thank you so much. Maura
tsantee
Insert the rewritable DVD, go to Toast's Recorder menu and choose Erase. The Quick Erase is all you need. At the end Toast will eject the DVD because it needs to be loaded as an erased disc to be recognized as blank.

bbeecchh
Just a quick note to let someone know I have the same issue as Maura. Not a big deal as long as I use the erase function in Toast. Cheers!
