Importing Video From Jvc Everio Camera

soccer mum

Question

Iam trying to copy video files from my JVC Everio camera to my pc so as to create a Videowave movie. I used the Everio software that came with the camera to copy file to my PC which it has done, however they are not media files. I have even tried to import the video using the viseowave opion and it still does not read the videos as media files. What am I doing wrong?

What extensions do the files have you copied to your PC?

Sorry Iam only new to this so my computer language is basic. When I look at the properties of the file it says that they are hard disk camera movie and will open with Nero. They have MOD at the end of file name. Does that help?

Please check the pinned post above this thread. There is a small shareware app that will properly transfer the Everio files and rename them so Videowave/MyDVD can use them.

I have saved the program on my PC and when I pressed run Windows stopped it saying it was potentialy harmfull and blocked it. I gather its in my settings.

Appreciate you help
