Capture Aborted Message

sebs3

Question

Every time I try to capture video from My Sony Camcorder, It starts to capture the first 3 or 4 seconds of the video then it stops and a message appears that says capture aborted. It has never done this before as I have used this camera before to pature video with this program. Please help. Thanks

Check your firewire cord and connections. They are pretty delicate.

How much defragged and free space you do have on your computer?

I have 44 gb left on the hard drive. It's been a while since I've defragmented it. Could very well be a loose connection I'll check it out and see if it does the same with a different camera.

You could also try capturing with Windows Movie Maker. Defragging is definitely a must when doing video work especially with only 44GB free
