jjbcroft
Hello, My teenage son accidentally deleted the express labeler program that came loaded on our HP Compaq. Is there any way to re-load it or am I SOL and have to re-purchase it and go from there? Thanks! JJbcroft
Jim_Hardin
You will have to ask HP where the backup disc is.
Syrallas
Also, make sure its not in the recycle bin and that he did not just delete the desktop icon -- if he just deleted the icon, the program should still be in your computer. Try looking under: Start>Programs> HP> PC Help & Tools> HP Application Recovery Your folder structure may be slightly different, but the application name should be the same. jjbcroft
I've already looked in the recycle bin - gone. I've also tryed the Start>Programs> HP> PC Help & Tools> HP Application Recovery and that hasn't worked, either. I can still burn a CD, but when I try to bring up the Express Labeler, I get the error code: Exception EAccessViolation in module dwwin.dll at 000EAE22. Access violation 0061AE22 in module 'dwwin.dll'. Read of address0000003C. JJbcroft

Some of the error codes are close to yours ....
