Deleted Express Labeler - Ooops!

Hello,

My teenage son accidentally deleted the express labeler program that came loaded on our HP Compaq. Is there any way to re-load it or am I SOL and have to re-purchase it and go from there?

All HP (that I've seen) come with an application to restore the preinstalled applications. Try looking under:

Start>Programs> HP> PC Help & Tools> HP Application Recovery

Your folder structure may be slightly different, but the application name should be the same.

I've already looked in the recycle bin - gone. I've also tryed the Start>Programs> HP> PC Help & Tools> HP Application Recovery and that hasn't worked, either. I can still burn a CD, but when I try to bring up the Express Labeler, I get the error code: Exception EAccessViolation in module dwwin.dll at 000EAE22. Access violation 0061AE22 in module 'dwwin.dll'. Read of address0000003C.

You may have to do as Jim H. initially suggested, and see if HP can help out. First, though, maybe read here. Some of the error codes are close to yours ....
