annandmac
Hi. I am new to video wave and not very computer literate. I took a video clip with the camera in the vertical position so it is stored "on its side". Using media Creator 10 is it possible to rotate the clip so the DVD I output shows it the right way up? If it is possible, please could someone provide very simple, step by step instructions on how to do it. Many thanks for taking the time to read this, even if you are unable to help. malatekid
In Storyline view, insert a colored panel. Switch to Timeline and insert the video clip as an overlay to that colored panel. With the overlay selected, click the "More Settings" icon on top of the Preview screen. Choose the middle tab . There is a slider for Rotation. annandmac
Do come back and let us know the result. Hi. Malatekid You are a genius! It still took me quite a long time because I am pretty incompetent at this, but a bit of persistence and regular re-reading of what you had told me cracked it in the end. Would you believe that I had previousy asked the Roxio Support Team and they said it could not be done, so you can definitely go to the top of the class. We had taken quite a lot of video clips whilst on holiday, but Murphy's Law says that" the only one which is really important to keep and share is the only one that will be taken with the camera vertical." It really was very frustrating and we are all genuinely very grateful for your help. I doubt if I will ever be able to help you in the same way, so all I can do is say a really big THANKYOU.
