Probably A Stupid Question But Need Help

So I downloaded a .bin file and tried to burn it to a dvd... I didn't select to mount it (which I looked up and it said you just need to reinsert it to make it look like a dvd) and now I have a VIDEOCD that I cannot play bc all the files aren't recognized by my mac as a dvd... they have .vcd extensions. So how do I get this to a watchable dvd? Thanks ahead of time for any help.

A video CD is burned to CD-R media, not to DVD. Most DVD players can play a video CD burned to CD-R. Did you use the Image File setting in the Copy window to select the .bin file for burning to disc? Is there a .cue file with it?
