sfrcsw
I am using Windows XP SP2, uninstalled version 5 and just purchased Easy CD & DVD Creator 6 (v.6.2.1.130). After installing it on my Gateway computer (Driver ID HL-ST CDRW GCE 8160B), found that when I tried to burn something my whole system froze. Is it because this version is incompatable with WinXP SP2, is there a way to update it, do I have to use version 8? Please advise. Sfrcsw

Try doing an add/remove, then run roxizap (URL is in FREQUENT ANSWERS, pinned to the top of the board), and then reinstall. Version 6 runs with WinXP; EMC 7, 7.5, and 8 require a minimum of WinXP SP1 or Win2000 SP4 to work. Lynn
