The standard default location, is the same as many other programs. They save it to a folder in Documents and Settings, which is not a good place to save them.

If you browse to a location, where you want to save the file, then the next time you click save, or save as, it will default to that location. At least, it does on for me.

Thank you much. I made a folder named "master Back up" and than some subfolders were I will save all my files that need backing up. I gave the Master back up folder an icon. Come back up time, I just slide the "Mater back up" folder icon to an external drive and date it.

I guess that will work.

Thanks again for your interest to help me out :)

Well, that just shows you the kind of novice I am.

I like to know how to change the audio, video and photo default location.

Is it the last file location used or is there a standard default location for roxio media files?

Thanks for your interest in helping me.
