Audio Cd Tagging

Currently using "Winamp" software

 

I kinda like the Winamp display, just doesn't 'Tag' CD's the way Music Match did before Yahoo took over.

 

Question:

Does Roxio tag the CD with information such as "Disc Title - Artist - Song Title" information that can be read in other standalone players that read and display CD metadata and with different computers and software?

 

I use to use 'Music Match' software to record my personal CD compilations for use in my 200 disc changer and my car. That program would "Tag" the CD with the CD Title, Artist, and Song Title information that could be read on my CD Changer, on other computers, and in my car so that I would know what to select. **Since YAHOO! took over the software I no longer use it, it's just nowhere near as good, (Junk).

 

I am looking to purchase the best audio software player and recorder with the proper features. From what I have read in reviews I feel Roxio has a great product but I need to know this information. (Deal Breaker / Maker)
