Emc 10 & 11 Will Not Work With Creator Classic

Wimpey

Question

I get this message every time I try to Install either program "Dragon Engine Initialization Failed", I Have gone back to EMC 5 & Emc 9 so I can at least copy some of my LP's. I have followed the advice about uninstalling all Roxio And Sonic Programs from Windows XP & Vista But NO Joy.

Any sugestions.

Do you have EMC 5 or EMC 9 on the same computer which you encountered the "Dragon Engine Initialization Failed"? On what step during installation you received the error? Right at the start?

I uninstalled Every Roxio & Sonic Program As suggested Including all windows systems info they were completly clean But EMC 10 & Emc 11 both gave The same error as stated on XP And Vista Machines. When I re uninstalled all Programs I got EMC 9 to work on Vista but Not EMC 5, But EMC 9 Wont On Xp But EMC 5 will! It's so frustrating.

On what step during installation you received the error when you install EMC 10/Creator 2009 on Vista or XP machine? Right at the start before you put in any cd key?

After Installation some parts work OK but not Creator Classic which I use most of the time I dont use the Video parts at all just the LP, Tape & CD Copy/Ripper tools also after attempting to Install EMC 5 on Vista I get a Roxio Driver compatability problem although it has been uninstalled per the method that is the prefered one, the Roxio programs seem to give more problems than any other.
