Please help me !

 

I have a Mac and yesterday I put Toast9 on it. I can tranfer tivo files to it easily. Now i want to covert files into itunes. I can do it mannualy.

 

But I need all the settings to do it automatic. When i do it automaticly, when i sync my ipod it will not take the file.

 

Could someone please give me all the settings that they use to do this.

Guy, this is what i was asking the previous thread....I have found no way to automate this process using Toast 8...I cannot even get Toast to automatically open iTunes when done converting, even when the checkbox is checked!

 

I have thought about trying to have the Toast exported video saved right in the TV Shows folder under iTunes, but iTunes uses subfolders to hold multiple episodes from the same TV show and this is not selectable in Toast 8, you can only choose 1 folder for the export.

 

Also, this does nothing to help automate starting the conversion process in Toast once the Tivo transfer process is complete.

 

 

Very poor product functionality from Roxio in my opinion. The PC version of TivoToGo works flawlessly by the way.

I am upgrading to Toast 9 now in hopes of automating. This includes a new version of Tivo Transfer 1.2.1 which if you go to preferences -> General there is a checkbox to "Automatically export transferred Tivo recordings to Toast"
