MovieMomBonnie
I'm having a similar problem, so I thought I'd jump on this thread. I viewed the NATIVE format and the line is there, so the audio is intact, but no sound on playback in Videowave. My nephews have been working on this movie for a couple of years. They've compiled clips and appear to have done everything right. Where should I be looking for information? I know the sound is working on the computer, and I can hear them capturing new clips now, but the edited version has no sound. Thanks. You most likely have acompletely different problem. "me too" posts are not very useful and often confuse things. In your new thread please also state what program from what Roxio suite you are using, where did the video clip come from, etc. The more info you post the easier it will be to offer some help. From what device are you capturing, how are you capturing (setup, connections)?

Bonnie If they have been working on it for a couple of years, you don't have EMC 10. What version of Roxio software are you using?
sknis
I'm trying to add Movies to MY DVD in creating a home DVD. When I go to preview or play back the sound has not come to My DVD with the Video! How did you capture the video to your computer? What is th original format? Did you do any editing in Video Wave to see if the sound was there? Add the video to Video Wave, click to show tracks and select native. If there is audio, you will see a line half way (more or less) up in that native track. Some "mov" files do not work well so you will not have audio or it will be simply loud static especially if they were created via a digital still camera. Please post more information so we don't have to cycle back through the thread in order to find a solution.

There is a lot of information you left out
