Question

I would like to be able to show a selected button by highlighting the border of the button (outline) instead of having the whole button highlighted ... does anyone know if this is possible.

Extract from help file

Highlight: Use these settings to set the color and shape of the button’s highlight when the button is selected and activated:

Color: Choose a color scheme for the highlight colors. These color schemes are defined in the menu Settings dialog box.

Button highlight: Select one of the following highlight designs:

None: The button is not highlighted.

Extent: The highlight is a solid rectangle over the area of the button.

Highlight: The highlight is a predefined shape associated with the button style.

Highlight and Extent: Both a solid rectangle and the highlight shape associated with the button style are used.

Is there any way of determining what the predifined shape is whithout trying every button?

And now for something completely different .... is there a way of setting the size of the grid for snapping buttons to???

I keep going from thinking EMC11 (MyDVD) is great to a load of rubbish ... some things are absolutely brilliant while others are totally useless

Thanks

Generally speaking, Extent will be a rectangle around the associated button and will be a shaded color.

Outline will be literally an outline around the text letters.

Select the button and then click VIEW / SETTINGS.

At the bottom of that dialog box, there is a section for Highlight.

See attachment

As far as I know, there is no way to adjust the grid.
