Slide Duration And Transition Duration

Just getting started with Creator 2009. Is there a way to sellect all of the photos in a slide show and make the duration for all of them the same. I can't find a preference page to set preferences for length of photo or transitions. Most of my other programs have that opton. But, maybe I'm just not looking in the righ place.

 

Making a theme one transition with same duration is not acceptable. I'd like to be able to click on a transition and choose which transition I'd like also. Can't find anything in the instructions to tell me if that can be done. Selecting variable transitions is fine but it doesn't allow for a common duration for all the transitions.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

For the preference for setting the length of time of all photos, click on File/Production Settings, and you will see a box for setting the duration of ALL images in your production.

 

As for the transition settings, unfortunately, Roxio didn't fix the bug for changing the duration, for all settings, without changing the transition type to the one you are on, when you change the transition time.

 

This was a problem in EMC 10, too.

It would be really nice to be able to select multiple slides or multiple transitions and edit the properties of the multiple selected ones at the same time.

I guess that the designers expected you to define the production settings before you add content...

When you double click a slide panel you can set the duration of the slide to a default as well as apply to ALL slides in the production which means any earlier slide also.

 

The request for selecting individual slides/group of slides/transitions and make changes to their duration has been made several times to the Roxio developers but is being ignored.
