What Does "mount In Toast" Mean?

Question

What does "mount in toast" mean? I have a DVD with a program on it the installer for which I am told I must "mount in toast" or it won't work. What does this mean? Sorry, I'm not a toast guy. I'll but toast if I have to, but I'll still need to know what this means.

Sorry for what must seem like a retarded question. and THANKS

My guess is you have a disc image file which requires to be prepared for viewing by emulating the drive. What this means that a mirror image of the content of the disc image file will be available for you to proceed further. Similarly mounting is a general term used under MacOS for disc image or disc.

Right clicking on the file should provide with contextual option "mount it".
