re-installing EMC9 retail version on an XP PRO machine

install screen lists my name and company as installed previously BUT

ERROR MESSAGE appears advising that the CD key is invalid

SAYS "please re-enter CD key" BUT there is no place to enter it on the screen

PLease help I am NEW

Do you have an ad-blocker running? It took a while to figure out why I coudn't find the 'enter' button on eBay feedback, among other places - it was my ad-blocker and I had to convince it the button was safe.

 

If you are presently using Internet Explorerer as your default browser, try a different browser - I use FireFox for eBay until I figure out a way to get IE 6 to co-operate on a given issue - IF I get IE 6 to co-operate. You may have to change default browser temporarily to get it to work. (FF 3 blocks the ad-blocker )
