Use With Canon Hf10 Or Hf100?

Has anyone used either of these camcorders with Creator 2009. It's not listed as supported yet. Wondering if it will pull files off camcorded or if I would still have to use Canon software.

I have read this content and no my camcorder is not listed. So that means creator 2009 is useless to me?. If some one would just tell me if this program can read .M2TS files that my camcorder creates it would help.

You don't need ANY software to get the files off the camcorder. I believe that both models use memory cards to store the video. When you connect these camcorder via the USB cable, Windows XP or Vista will recognize the camcorder as an external memory card reader and should show up in My Computer as another driver letter.

 

All you need to do is open My Computer , navigate to the files and copy them using Windows Explorer to your internal hard drive (My Docs / Videos or something like that).

 

Yes, Videowave and MyDVd can use the files just file. When you add them to a project, they will first ask to convert them to editable format. Click OK and choose a place to save this file. The original is not edited and you will NOT lose any resolution. The editable file will still be hidef.
