Anybody out there have ANY success at authoring and burning to BD with a 6 channel 48k 16bit interleaved
PCM WAV audio file (L R C LFE Ls Rs) and 1920x1080p 23.98 M2V video file?
If so, can you please tell me what software and workflow you are using to generate your multichannel WAV?
DVDit Pro HD keeps trying to transcode the audio (instead of letting it pass thru) when we go to "BURN" (Either to a file or disc) and then the whole process stops without any error message.
We are generating the audio in ProTools 7.3 (on Mac), then importing to Adobe Audition CS2 (or Compressor on Mac) to correct the track layout, and then re-exporting to a workable file.
Trying to import WAV or AIF multichannel files direct from ProTools results in an error on input, thus our need to use Audition or Compressor to massage them first.
I hope someone out there has found a way that works!
