Thanks Right click My computer, choose Manage and in the Computer Management screen on the right, double click Services. Scroll down until you see Roxioupnpservice9 and double click it. You should see Automatic listed. Choose Disabled then click apply. You shouldn't have any trouble but if you find any problems with running Roxio, just enable it again. Go to tools in Media Manager and turn it off. Are you sure that it isn't the folder watching and cataloging application. You can turn it off in the same place.
