Brian, if you haven't already, read this. There are a few new features but if you're not in need of them and are happy with what you have, you don't need to update.

It's got AVCHD support, better support for sending to portable devices, converting to audiobook cd's, high def dvds to play in PS3, and a few other things to keep up with what's new in the video/audio world.

While I don't use many of these features, I can tell you that although I still have v9 and 10 installed, I do find myself using this latest version daily and other than some problems installing in Vista for me, this version has worked pretty well.

As of yet, there is no trial available nor do I know if there will ever be one but if so, it'll be posted here so keep in touch with the forum.
