Convert Tivo Files And Burn To A Dvd

Twice now, my first two atemps to do this have failed. I tried to burn a 60 min. show to a disk and after 14 hrs of running it was stopped at 88%. I had to shut down PC to get it to cancel. I am lost on this. I feel I followed the instructions that the tivo/roxio supplied. Help John
