Creator 2009 And Dazzle Capture Device

Hello,

I previously ordered Easty Media Creator 10, and Dazzle video capture, but never installed either product because shortly afterwards Creator 2009 became available. I purchased 2009, and had difficulty installing it. I had to restart my computer 5 times, and reinsert the cd each time to begin the installation process, after repeated stalls, or error messages. After finally installing it, I tried to install Dazzle. The quick install instructions for Vista were to plug in the device then install the software. The computer would not recognize the cd installation software, so I went on line to the Pinnacle web site, and downloaded the installation from there, but am not sure which version to install. Also, when I ran the tutorial for creator 2009, and clicked on any of the "show me" links, all I got was a blank box, and no instructions, each time I tried to get the information. Can any one give me complete information on these products? Thank you.

You didn't say anything about your PC specs???

 

For the problems you listed, you might be better off running through the Clean Install before trying to go any farther…

 

From the Pinnacle site, get the drivers that match your system. If there aren't any, like V64, then it isn't going to work.

Go to this page and download the drivers for Dazzle DVD Recorder (DVC 100).Those will be the correct ones.

Once you do that unplug the Dazzle and uninstall anything you've already installed for it.

Once you've done that then run the driver file you downloaded.

After you do that and reboot then plug in the Dazzle.Windows should find the drivers you just installed.

I've done this in v9,10 and 2009 and it worked with all three versions.

Right now I have it working in XP on C2009 and in Vista on v10.

Out of curiosity, are you running Vista 32 or 64?

My system is a Dell Inspriron 1720, purchased in Dec., 2007. It is using the Vista Home Premium (32 bit) o.s.
