Emc 9 Burning Problems

i have emc 9 but when i try to burn a project using mydvd to disc or hard drive i get this error message come up i have the latest drivers for my graphics card and directx.i have tried shutting down my firewall and antivirus and everything that might be running in the background.please can anyone help me. Failed to start the image writing operation Error while  Burning Image
