Mydvd 9 Studio Premier

AngryRoxioCustomer

Question

My computer came with Sonic MyDVD 7 already loaded, but I didnt receive any software discs, because My computer had a recovery drive included. At any rate, after using and liking the Sonic product for a while, I tried to update and ended up with Roxio MyDVD 9 Studio Premier. I dont know if this was an update or an upgrade, but somehow the program became corrupted (user failure most likely), and now the darn thing tries to reinstall upon each restart of the computer. I cant reinstall because I dont have a disc and when I try to cancel it just keeps trying to install every 3-5 minutes for 2-3 days. The worst part about this is that I cannot even get rid of the problem by completely deleting all Roxio files from my computer because my computer will not allow me to delete them. Anyone else had this problem?

In addition, if you still have the original download, it's actually a self-extracting archive. If you right click on that and open it with Winrar or Winzip, you can extract the files to a folder and run setup.exe from that and then burn those to a CD once you have done the repair
