I exported some tracks from an OGG file using Sound Studio to create various AIF format files. Without fail, when I try to use Toast to burn a CD with these tracks (or play them from within Toast) it fails/crashes with no error message at all. If I use Audacity to export the same tracks to an AIF file, I get a file of the same size which Toast can handle.
I suppose this question is better posed to a Sound Studio forum but I'm curious if there's more to an AIF file than meets the eye; shouldn't one program's definition of AIF be the same as another's?
