Problem With Adding Submenus

Lightloch

Question

So for my latest big project with EMC 10 I decided I would get all of my menus and everything fixed up before I edit the individual videos separately in VideoWave. However, I have gotten to a point where I've added 4 submenus so far to my main menu. Now whenever I try and add an additional submenu to the main menu (I need a total of like 6-7), it automatically creates a "Next" button on my main menu which redirects to a second main menu and places my new (fifth) submenu there.

Can I really not add more than 4 submenus on the first main menu page? If not that is terribly irritating. I know I've seen DVD menus with more than four options on the main page. It won't let me drag and drop or rearrange on the menu tree either. Any ideas?

I prefer to get all my videos done before creating the menus. Trying to "edit" the menu later on gets confusing and often results in navigating problems.

In MyDVD, click Change Menu Styles. This will bring up a window showing the various menu styles. If you click any style there, it will show how the Menu style looks like and the number of titles it can accomodate per menu page. It also shows the chapter menu. Some of the styles can accomodate more than 4 titles per page. See which style satisfies your need.

Thanks for all of your help and suggestions so far!

A slight problem may be that I have already created a custom video/photo motion menu with transitions and music. Is it possible for me to transplant all that work into a newer menu schema? I suppose I should have made the video for the menu separately instead of using the integrated menu timeline, but any thoughts?

Problem solved I'm pretty sure.

Before selecting the new menu (7 was the largest number of submenus I could find on any menu style, but this should be sufficient), I simply cut my old menu motion video and pasted it into the new menu's timeline after deleting the default sequence.

Thanks again for your input and assistance!
