Windows Explorer Stop Working!

When I convert a DVD or movie file to playback on my iphone (2G), the conversion process works fine but when I click on the outputted video I get this error

 

"Window Explorer has stop working"

"Window Explorer is restarting"

 

This happens only in Vista. I video plays fine in a XP machine. The video itself plays fine on the iphone as well.

Well, I took the same source file and converted to the same "iphone" profile in ( edited) {other programs} and the output file was working file in Vista.

Sounds more like a problem with Vista to be honest - something is messed up either in the installation or the OS itself
