Winoncd 2009 It Tells Me To That I Have To Install Winoncd 9 Before Installing The Content

Hello

 

I have the german Versio of Roxio Creator 2009.

Called WinOnCd

 

I was able to install the WinOnCD and the BluRay Plug-In.

 

But if I install the Content File ( I bought the Download ) I get the error:

 

Vor dem Installieren müssen Sie WinOnCD 9 installieren.

 

It tells me to install WinOnCD 9 before the content.

 

Here are quite similar problems in the Forum so I tried all kinds of fresh installs and so on.

No way.

So what can I do to get the content installes ( other than just installing NERO 9 which just runs ).

 

Please help me.

Try a clean install and remove this registry key as well.

YEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

 

deleting this special Reg KEy fom Sonic Boom did make a reinstall possible.

Before this I cleaned everything on my system - but the key did make let it go.

 

I Thank you for that.

 

Perhaps this will help many other people.

If you want to run Nero then go for it.

 

Otherwise you need to follow the Clean Install procedures pined to the top of this conference to clean off your old install.

As written I have tried clean install for three times. I did find every reg Key and every file.

Did not work.

 

By the way - I have a second computer and just installed NERO and "wow" it was just able to install without any trouble.

But As I posted I also bought for a lot of Euros the Roxio software and I want to use it.

 

As my third computer is a mac I am used to work with roxio toast from 5-9 and I am happy and I want to use the roxio software also

on my both aver notebooks ( Aspire 8930 and Aspire 6935 ).

 

PLEASE HELP

You're welcome. This one wasn't an easy one to solve as the root cause is a failure to install the first time.

Please help spread the word if possible. There are other threads similar to this.

Thank you for your answer.

 

Yes I have - it seems that the Programm is too new. There are no postings and no answers.

 

I also openend a ticket at roxio and I did not get any answer jet.

 

I am very sad because I was looking forward to the Programm.

You know I use ECC sind the first release by Adaptec and it used to be such a great programm.

 

So perhaps anyone did get it to run.

 

I have a fresh Vista Home Prof - no old ECC installed before.

I took all the manuals to deinstall all Sonic and Roxio Programms on my machine.

The onlky programm still installed is the Napster Client and this has a burn engine but I do not know if this is from roxio.

Also I can not deinstall Napster because then all my Songs are without DRM.

 

I also cleaned the Registry - i searched all directories.

 

I also deinstalled dot.net 3.5 and SP1 of it and reinstalles directx.

 

Nothing.

Weiss niemand hier wirklich, wenn es Unterschiede mit WinonCD gibt, also zu sagen ist schwierig
