I recently installed Creator 2009 on a brand new HP laptop (2.53 GHz, 4GB DDR2, 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 9200M, Vista Home Premium 64-bit). The installation took a long time, but seemed to work properly. While using the advanced ripping tool, I noticed that after ripping 5 or 6 music CDs, the program would hang and I could not simply close it and reopen - it would not work without restarting the computer. So I visited this forum, where a clean install was recommended. I followed the instructions and performed a clean install. I reinstalled the program after removing everything from my computer, and the installation again took a long time, but seemed to work properly. Now, when I open Creator 2009, as soon as I try to change any of the defaults (I want to rip my music into FLAC files), the program closes itself and causes my computer to restart. Not sure what to try next. Maybe repeat the clean install? I've submitted a ticket to Roxio, but thought I would solicit ideas here, too. Thanks for any insight, Shawn
