using PhotoShow 5 after installing Roxio PhotoShow

Sans

Question

Transitions and borders are now called Styles.

The theme packs are included under the name "Stickers".

I need to put frames around pictures, change the transition of each picture, put backgrounds, etc. I cannot find these options. I cannot use one click styles because you can't change each photo, and I can't figure out how to change the music in the same Photo Show. I need to use about 15 different songs.

I still cannot get into Photo Show Deluxe 5 where I had all of these options. No one is telling me anything but to remove PS4 image files, which I did.

Thank you.

If you did not uninstall PhotoShow 5 You should find it in C:\Program Files\Simple Star\PhotoShow 5

You can then create a new shortcut and drag it to your desktop.

As I previously said in another thread, I uninstalled it. I reinstalled it, but when you do that

it puts the PS4 images back.

I don't understand what you mean by "drag it to your desktop". Please explain to me what I should do after I reinstall it. I'm not familiar with "dragging" Do I reintsall it and drag it from somewhere?

Thanks,

Sandy

If you want to reinstall PhotoShow 5, it will put the PS4 image database back on your computer. This file is needed for PhotoShow 5 to work. Sometimes it is deleted and the program reinstalled to fix a very specific problem.

If you no longer have a shortcut for PhotoShow 5 on your desktop but you still see the icon here:

C:\Program Files\Simple Star\PhotoShow 5

You can create a shortcut from the icon. Then click an drag the shortcut to the desktop.

Hi,

After deleting the PS4 image database file, I reinstalled the photoshow 5 program, but did not first uninstall it. That is what has worked for me. I was then able to create a photoshow, using different songs for each transition, choose my own special effects, captions, clip art, etc., AND post it online to my roxio photo show web sharing page! I also have the Roxio desktop software, which works fine, but without the extras of Photoshow version 5. Keep both programs, and, hopefully, you will be able to get the results you want.
