Editing In New Desktop Software Vs. Photoshow 5

romagjack

Question

The new desktop application seems faster and I like the ease of use vs. Photoshow 5. But, the editing features seem to be missing on the new version. How do you move the captions around or are they static at the bottom. Also, cropping, red eye, autofix, and several other editing features are missing in the new version. Am I overlooking something or must we do all the editing in other programs first?

I'm sure glad I kept the old version five while trying out the new one. Now I'm sure which one to remove.

I agree..why would anyone want to get Roxio when it only does half of what the old Simple Star product did. It malkes no sense. And also, I thinlk it rather rude of the person Digital Master to reply in such a clipped way. Maybe an explanation as to why Roxio has downgraded their product would answer questions better. I can't believe they only allow one song to run through the entire show. I have the very first version of Photoshow and back then they only allow one song per show, but it didn't take them long to fix it.

I made a long photoshow (150 pics) using the desktop software but could only use only 1 song for the soundtrack. How do you change to another track part way into the show like in Photoshop 5 or are you limited to 1 track with the new desktop version? Why did Roxio downgrade so many features from photoshow 5?

Roxio PhotoShow only allows one song per show.

I think crop (at least) is part of efficiency of creating shows, agree?

Alexandre.

Roxio PhotoShow does not focus on photo editing as much as previous versions.

I don't like that it only allows one song. That's ridiculous. Please, please, please change it to allow multiple songs on a photoshow.

Roxio PhotoShow is an efficient photo slide show program. This latest version emphasizes its main function: the creation and sharing of Shows.
